When you’re a serious savvy investor, and plugged into your local REIA you not only increase your financial IQ by getting smarter with your money but you also expand your current circle of influence and breadth of network through REIA’s investor community.

If you believe that great deals do not really happen, then you will not see one if you trip over it, or if someone hands it to you pn a silver platter. But the more deals you see, the more you will believe they exist.
If you are just beginning and not yet a believer, then the only way out of ‘stinking thinking’ is to start looking for great deals and dive in fully to your local REIA to take advantage of all the community training and resources.
The purpose of highlighting the membership’s Deal Of The Decade is to encourage newbies and even seasoned investors to realize: “Wow, I never realized real estate was this good!”

As president of Indiana REIA Scott FladHammer reveals, “Here’s a little-known secret of investing; you can always find a reason not to get involved in deal. With that understanding, what happens to a lot of investors is they think that great big deals just couldn’t possibly happen. And the irony of it all is that you’ll shoot down any chance you have for getting deals because subconsciously you don’t want to prove yourself wrong.
That gets into a bit of the psychology of investing that explains why most people will dismiss making money in real estate investing as a hoax, as a con, or as fiction of somebody’s imagination, and will move on to more “believable” investments. But after a few deals of the decade you won’t be able to sit still knowing that you might be wasting time finding your own deal of the decade.
When I tell people that property investing is not just a lot better than other investments, but 10 or even 100s of times better than other investments, people do not believe it.
But the more great deals you see, the more you will believe they exist. And our Deal of the Decade sessions will prove beyond a show of doubt that there is money in them-thar-hills. And so, you will muster the courage to find your own deals of the decade.”
